This drawing was made for an art challenge on Instagram called a "draw this in your style" (DTIYS). The goal of a DTIYS is to put your own spin on someone's original artwork while keeping its main idea and look. In this piece, I took creative liberties and added many of my own ideas. The only things I kept, as requested by the challenge host, were the character, the outfit, and the water theme. I'm very pleased with how this turned out, especially the dramatic lighting and the emotions it expresses.
