Swiss Style Poster

Swiss design, emerging in the 1950s-60s, is a graphic design trend influenced by International Typographic Style, Constructivism, Bauhaus, and modernism. Linked to Swiss artists, it has global recognition.

In my typography class at Montserrat, I explored this style while creating a poster for my favorite band, Twenty One Pilots, themed on their album "Clancy." I incorporated vibrant colors and motifs from the original poster to enhance the design for fans.

Twenty One Pilots is a duo from Columbus, Ohio, famous for songs like "Stressed Out," "Ride," and "Heathens." Their debut album, Vessel (2013), made them the first band to achieve gold or platinum for two albums. Their fourth album, Blurryface (2015), featured hit singles and was the first with all tracks certified gold. They have since released four more albums and thirteen number-one songs on the Alternative Songs chart.
