The Paw Project
The Paw Project raises awareness about cat declawing, which removes the last joint of a cat's toes and causes long-term problems. Declawing is illegal in many countries and often done to keep wild cats as pets. Since 2000, veterinarians have provided corrective surgery for domestic and wild cats to improve comfort and mobility.
The Paw Project fights for legal bans on declawing and supports reparative surgery for declawed cats.
This project for my advertising class allowed us to showcase our skills and identify strengths and weaknesses in our advertising abilities. I created an Instagram carousel post with quick facts about cat declawing, a topic I feel passionately about as a cat mom. I aimed to incorporate cohesive imagery across the slides for a flowing connection, encouraging viewers to scroll through the entire carousel for more information on this important issue.
